Look out. Don’t lash out.
Report serious unsafe driving that you personally observed. A registration identifies a vehicle, not who was driving. Reports are unverified observations, not proof of guilt.
Reporting limits
- One report for the same registration, state and country in any rolling 30 days, per account and verified email.
- Up to three registrations in any rolling 7 days. Premium has the same limits.
Accuracy and respect
Only report a registration you are certain of. Describe where, when and what you observed. Do not guess speed, accuse someone of a crime, publish private addresses, threaten, harass, target someone or coordinate reports. Review the AI draft and explicitly confirm before saving. Abuse can result in reporting restrictions.
Stay safe
Set up while parked. Never chase a vehicle, film while driving or use Look-out when unsafe or unlawful. This app does not contact emergency services.
Visibility and sharing
Community posts and reported areas are public. Driving reports stay out of the public feed. Relevant information may be provided to police or other authorised third parties subject to privacy, lawful purpose and controlled access. There is no active third-party report-sharing service in this beta.
Fairness and account control
Abuse and correction reviews are free in the app’s Preferences. Account deletion is free and removes your account and posts. Deletion does not cancel Apple subscriptions. A restricted quota record, including an email fingerprint, is retained for 30 days to prevent resetting reporting caps; expired records are cleaned every 15 minutes. Registering a plate does not grant access to another person’s private reports.
Questions, appeals and safety
A person on the Look-out team reviews every report and concern. To ask a question, appeal a decision or raise a safety issue, write to founder@think-app.com.
